For the new DAF 2024 (Argic 4638)
- Detach the camera from both the bracket and the glass.
- Remove any remains of the old sticky pad from the camera support. A good method is to press firmly with your thumb on the leftover material and roll it away.
- Degrease both the glass and the camera plate to ensure a clean bonding surface.
- Remove one side of the protective film from the new camera pad.
- Position the pad onto the camera support bracket and press it firmly in place.
- Peel off the second protective film, then press the pad and bracket assembly onto the windscreen. Have someone support the glass from the outside to prevent movement of a freshly installed windscreen.
- Reassemble all components, and the installation is complete.
